I’m Prisha Fatehpuria – Storyline (Data Science Journey)

Prisha Fatehpuria grew up in a family of engineers and entrepreneurs, where conversations were often about numbers—sales targets, inventory cycles, exports, and growth strategies. Her family manages automobile dealerships for global brands like Škoda, Hyundai, Nissan, and Volkswagen, alongside a thriving stone export business in the United States.
From an early age, she was exposed to how decisions were made—what models to stock, which markets to prioritize, when to scale operations. While these decisions seemed intuitive on the surface, Prisha began to notice a deeper pattern: every major choice was driven by data, even if it wasn’t always formally recognized as such.
This realization became a turning point.
She started asking questions:
Why do certain car models sell better in specific regions?
How can customer preferences be predicted?
What patterns exist in export demand across countries?
The more she explored, the more she understood a powerful truth:
“Everything around us—business, behavior, growth—is ultimately data in motion.”
What intrigued her even more was the gap. Despite being surrounded by successful engineers and business minds, there was no one in her ecosystem who specialized in data science—no one who could systematically extract insights, build predictive models, or translate raw information into strategic decisions.
Instead of seeing this as a limitation, Prisha saw it as an opportunity.
She decided to step into a space that was both unfamiliar to her family and essential for its future. A space where she could combine her exposure to real-world business with the analytical power of data.
Her goal is not just to study Data Science—but to apply it meaningfully:
Optimizing dealership operations through demand forecasting
Enhancing customer experience using behavioral insights
Scaling export strategies using data-driven market analysis
For Prisha, data science is not just a field of study—it is a tool for transformation. A way to bridge intuition with evidence, and tradition with innovation.
In choosing this path, she is not stepping away from her family’s legacy—
